Hatta is a resort place in the Basalt Mountains of Al-Hajar, located at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level. Due to its convenient location near the largest city of Oman, the Hatta village was considered strategically important for a long time, as evidenced by the military fort preserved here.
For a secluded holiday, perhaps this is the best place where you can abstract from everyday problems surrounded by mountains. Is it worth talking about the purity of air in the mountains? Residential buildings have been built here, not only at the foot of the “stone giants,” but also in their gorges. Unusual ways of growing crops, rural life and much more are on display to all the guests of the Hutta.
It is worth noting that, like two hundred years ago, local residents use the same primitive tools. Moreover, the highlanders enjoy showing their national costumes, and their folk songs can be heard from far away. Thus, the centuries-old entourage of the Hutta was not only preserved but also carefully passed on from generation to generation.
